As measured by Expenditures Per Capita, our Lebanon Public Library has long been one of the least efficient public library systems in Indiana. The Lebanon library is one example of the overbuild-it-and-they-will-come approach favored by the Greater Lebanon Community Vision Committee to encourage developers to turn Lebanon into "Fishers West" with suburban sprawl, high taxes, and runaway utility costs. Concerned Lebanon citizens who favor orderly growth that pays for itself must let our elected "public servants" know they are headed in the wrong direction!
