Businesses, business political action committees, and business employees who benefit – or hope to benefit – from Lebanon government contracts, development subsidies, and tax abatements provided $134,844.00 (or 93%) of the total $145,570.85 in campaign contributions to Lebanon Mayor Candidate Huck Lewis for the five years from January 1, 2010, through December 31, 2014: see http://www.finplaneducation.net/huck_lewis_contributions.htm.

Candidate Lewis is susceptible to allegations that he has unethically accepted pay-to-play campaign contributions from vested business interests that are mostly headquartered outside Boone County.

All nineteen pages of the recently filed 2014 Report of Receipts and Expenditures for Candidate Lewis are posted below. Notes below each Contributions page present the business interests of each Contributor and whether that Contributor is currently doing business with the city.

Indiana law sadly allows campaign contributions to be both perfectly legal and perfectly unethical. It is up to each candidate to establish his or her own ethical guidelines for campaign contributions. Ultimately, it is up to voters to decide if candidates who accept unethical campaign contributions deserve election.

Indiana Ready Mix promotes the use of ready mix concrete in Indiana.

DB Engineering LLC is a civil engineering firm.

Rundell Ernstberger Associates LLC is a landscape architecture, urban design, and land planning services firm.

DLZ LLC is an architecture, engineering, planning, surveying, and construction services firm. Lebanon Mayor Huck Lewis led the Lebanon City Council to award an $18,000 no-bid contract to DLZ on March 23, 2015, to complete a downtown parking study.

Christopher Burke Engineering is a planning, design, and construction management firm whose projects include stormwater, flood control, wastewater, environmental management, transportation, and recreation infrastructure. CBE has been hired by the Lebanon Storm Water Management Board to evaluate stormwater control plans submitted to the Board for approval. The SWMB has also awarded a no-bid contract to CBE to design a 28-acre detention pond north of the Sanitary Ditch within the Lebanon Interchange Land Use Plan study area - CBE was paid $143,000 on this contract in 2014, and $175,000 is included in the 2015 SWMB budget: see http://www.finplaneducation.net/lebanon_drainage_plan.htm.

Jacob Hammerle & Johnson LLC is a Zionsville law firm that provides the legal counsel for the Lebanon Utilities Service Board.

Phil Boots for State Senate District 23 - Senator Boots has been one of the General Assembly's foremost county Wheel Tax advocates.

CD PAC does not appear to be registered with the Indiana Election Division.

DPBG Political Action Committee is the American Structurepoint PAC to support pro-growth, pro-business candidates. American Structurepoint is the engineering firm for the Indianapolis Avenue roundabouts project - engineering estimates for project phases one and two total $963,450. American Structurepoint has also been awarded a no-bid contract to revise Lebanon's Comprehensive Plan.
